The listed coordinates are for the parking area. You will find the
coordinates for the cache in a film canister near the gate.
This cache is a "twin" to Twin
Peaks #2. You will need to do the one to find the other!
Bring your dog if you like, but probably not
the youngest of children. Older children are ok if they can
handle the distance (about 1 1/2 miles round trip) and the
elevation gain (several hundred feet). These figures are for
the correct trail--if you take the wrong ones your figures
will vary!
Initial contents include: log book and pen, toy car, baseball
cards, various refrigerator magnets, etc. Cache is in a cylindrical
tupperware.
A nice view of Rainier on a sunny day. If it's been wet out,
watch out for slippery erosion-control logs and muddy trails.
There are two "honey buckets" available down the boat launch
access road.
