This is the Mt. Savage furnace. Cache is hidden about 20 feet off the road. Flat ground. Very easily accessible.
This is a small 3x3 cylinder wrapped in camo duct tape.
Contains a log book (no pen, wouldnt fit) and a couple small trade items.
This furnace was used to make "pig iron" many years ago.
Is much smaller than most furnaces we have visited but still is a neat place.
