A cache in the Navarino Nature area.
This cache was formerly multicache GC12GV1. That cache was archived
but the final was left in place to be republished as a traditional
cache. Hopefully this will encourage more visitors.
If you have already found GC12GV1, you do NOT need to refind this
cache--just go ahead and log it. But, it's a nice walk. You can
park at the trailhead on McDonald road, or take the long walk from
the nature center.
The name of this cache comes from the fact that trail runs used to
be held on the trail system out here. The last run to be held was
the Navarino Eco-Marathon in 2010.
The Geocache Notification Form has been approved by Kay
Brockman-Mederas of the Northeast Region Service Center of the
Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural
Resource managed lands require permission by means of a
notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the
notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it
to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager
