Geocache Description:

Cache is located in Jackson's Fairmont Cemetery. Cache should be an easy park and grab. No need to trample graves finding this one.

Coordinates will bring you to the grave of John Wollam.PLEASE NOTE: THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE GRAVE. The cache Cache is located near the grave . Mr. Wollam was the 17th person ever to be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions during the Civil War. John was a member of Andrew's Raiders, Ohio Union soldiers who took part in the famous Great Locomotive Chase of 1862. During the chase, Wollam and his partners were captured by Confederate forces. Wollam made a daring escape and returned back to Union lines several hundred miles away. Wollam was awarded his medal on July 20th 1864
