Most c.1 - Trstena, ponad Oravicu
Železnicná trat Trstená – Suchá Hora bola ako súcast
3. úseku Oravskej miestnej železnice Tvrdošín –
Suchá Hora otvorená 21.12.1899. Do Polska bola predlžená v
roku 1904 (trat Nowy Targ – Podczerwone – Suchá Hora).
Suchá Hora ležala síce na uhorskom území ktoré malo po
skoncení prvej svetovej vojny pripadnút Ceskoslovensku,
avšak v novembri 1918 polské vojsko obsadilo cast Oravy
vrátane Suchej Hory.
Po vynútenom odchode Poliakov v prvej polovici januára 1919
pripadla Suchá Hora znova CSR. Rozhodnutím velmocí zo
dna 28.7.1920 územie obcí Suchá Hora a Hladovka pripadlo Polsku.
Stanica Suchá Hora s 5 km trate sa ocitla v Polsku, hranicou sa
stala rieka Jelešna. Už 25.5.1921 bol schválený návrh
delimitacnej komisie na výmenu území na Orave, avšak
hranicný protokol bol podpísaný až 6.5.1924. Od dna 3.6.1924
sa Suchá Hora dostala definitívne na územie CSR.
Dna 24.9.1938 bol hranicný prechod Suchá Hora –
Czarny Dunajec uzatvorený. Uzatvorený bol až do polovice
októbra. Po Viedenskej arbitráži (2.11.1938) bola stanica
Suchá Hora odovzdaná dna 3.12.1938 polským železniciam, cím
vznikol hranicný prechod Trstená – Sucha Góra Orawska
(otvorený ale až od 10.2.1939). Poliaci tento hranicný prechod
uzavreli 29.8.1939, teda tesne pred napadnutím Polska hitlerovským
Nemeckom. Po rýchlej porážke Polska bola Slovensku vrátená
trat Trstená – Suchá Hora dna 25.9.1939.
Po skoncení 2. svetovej vojny uz nebola medzinárodná doprava na
trati obnovená. Osobná doprava na trati bola zastavená od
23.5.1971, nákladná od 15.10.1971, oficiálne zrušenie trate

Railway track Trstená – Suchá Hora was, as the part of the
third sector of Local Orava Railway Tvrdošín – Suchá
Hora opened on 21. December, 1899. It was prolonged to Poland in
1904 (Nowy Targ – Podczerwone – Suchá Hora railway).
Suchá Hora was on the Ugrian part, which was supposed to be owned
by Czechoslovakia after the World War I, but in November 1918
Polish army took control over the part of Orava, including Suchá
Hora.
After the forced departure of the Polish army in the first half of
January 1919, was Suchá Hora given back to the CSR. Decision of
world-powers on 28. July 1920 had given area of villages Suchá Hora
and Hladovka to Poland. Suchá Hora station, with 5 km of track was
located in Poland and the border became the river Jelešna.
But on 25. May 1921 was accepted proposal of delimitary commission
about changing territories on the Orava, but border protocol was
not signed until 6. May 1924. From the 3. June 1924 was Suchá Hora
definitely located on the territory of CSR.
On 24. September 1938, was the border crossing Suchá Hora
– Czarny Dunajec closed until the half of October. After the
First Vienna Arbitration (2. November 1938) was the train station
Suchá Hora on 3. December 1938 given to Polish Railways and the
border crossing Trstená – Suchá Góra Orawska (was not opened
until 10. February 1939) was created. The Polish closed this
crossing on 29. August 1939, so closely before German attack. After
the quick defeat of Poland, was this track Trstená – Suchá
Hora given back to Slovakia on 25. September 1939.
After the end of World War II, the international transport on
this track was renewed. Personal transportation was stopped on 23.
May 1971 and cargo on 15. October 1971, track was oficially
canceled on 1. January 1975.
