Geocache Description:

Kätkö jatkaa Kuopion Alphabet-sarjaa.

RIISA - Suomen ortodoksinen kirkkomuseo on valtakunnallisesti merkittävä erikoismuseo, joka kuuluu Suomen ortodoksisen kirkon alaisuuteen. Kirkkomuseo on perustettu Kuopioon vuonna 1957.

Museon tehtävänä on tallentaa, säilyttää, tutkia ja pitää näytteillä Suomen ortodoksisen kirkon historiaan liittyvää esineellistä kulttuuriperintöä sekä hyödyntää sitä kasvatus- ja opetustarkoituksiin.

Itse kätkö sijaitsee museon takana olevassa metsässä AITOJEN ULKOPUOLELLA, joten jästeistä ei ole hirveästi pelkoa. Jos saavut kätkölle hautausmaan puolelta, niin käy ihmeessä ihastelemassa museota joko sisäpuolelta aukioloaikoina, tai ulkopuolelta Karjalankadun puolelta. Koordinaatit voivat hieman heittää maastosta johtuen.

RIISA - The Orthodox Church Museum was established in 1957. Most of the exhibits, which consist mainly of icons, sacred objects and liturgical textiles, are from the monasteries and congregations of Karelia: a region in southeast Finland that was partially ceded to the Soviet Union in connection with the Second World War. Objects in the museum are mainly from the 18th and 19th centuries.

The cache is located in the woods behind the museum, so there's no danger of muggles.
