Located in a lovely midtown park that is not nearly visited enough, sits a Cottonwood tree also known as Class Aigeiros. This native Oklahoman tree looks to be ancient, the life expectancy of most Cottonwoods are approximately 70 years. If you look closely there is a beautiful habitat for a lucky neighborhood animal, perhaps an Owl? When visiting you may observe rabbits, birds, butterflies, fireflys and the occasional amazing Oklahoma cloud display!
I picked this place to honor a friend: Gary! One time Gary and I were at the park when we could not find his car keys upon leaving. Eventually we did place the keys and the reality of the situation progressed to histerical laughter. We realised that Gary's keys were on top of Gary's car on Gary Street at Gary Park down from Gary's house...
