Geocache Description:

Easy park and grab at one of those take-your-breath vistas common in Maine's Western mountains

When I'm on vacation, if I'm not on the water then I'm either looking for caches or looking for new scenic spots to place caches. Even with the rain and somewhat limited visibility, this is just one of those places where you have to stop, maybe have a picnic and just appreciate the beauty of our fine State. So this one is about the place and not the hide. The cache is slightly larger then a film cannister, within a few feet of the road although not wheelchair friendly. Assuming you come onto the Capitol Road from Route 201, is is advisable that you take the second left to get to the cache. While the first left will get you there, that road deterioates after a couple of miles and will require a high clearance 4WD. The second left makes this cache available in a standard passenger car. Enjoy the view! Congratulations to number seven for the FTF! Cache contains a log only so BYOP.
