Geocache Description:

Cleanup Bayou Lafourche Annual Event

March 10, 2018 from 8am-12pm.

Cleanup Bayou Lafourche is an annual event projected to clean up 106 miles of the bayou from Donaldsonville to Leeville. We need you to help with this HUGE event. We are going to be assigned a section near Thibodaux, LA. We had a good but small group representing last year so this year we would like to get more people out there!!

Let's represent LGO with a CITO along the Bayou Lafourche. We will meet at the Jean Lafitte Historical Park and Preserve in Thibodaux, LA. Register at the link below for a FREE T-SHIRT and to let them know how many of us to expect. Under the question 'Which section of Bayou Lafourche would you like to help with?' please put Louisiana Geocaching so we can be placed as a group. Be sure to wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty and wet! They will issue us bags, grabbers, and gloves! Also let's not forget to hydrate!!
