GeocacheAlaska! Outdoor Safety EduVent

Get a handle on Outdoor Safety while Geocaching in this fast-paced presentation by Trish (AKLoisandClark), Sourdough member of GeocacheAlaska!. This EduVent will cover several Outdoor Safety topics ranging from bears and moose to finding hazardous items such as needles. Perfect for new as well as seasoned cachers to learn about or get a refresh on Outdoor Safety before your next caching adventure.

This event will be limited to in-person at the BP Energy Center. There will not be an online feed for this presentation.

Please post a "Will Attend" log on this event page to stay appraised of any changes or updates to this presentation. If we need to make any announcements about this event, all registered attendees will automatically receive an email copy of those announcements via the email you have registered with your Geocaching.com account. Adding a "Will Attend" log to this page will also assure enough hard copy handouts are printed for the event participants.

Please arrive on time so upfront administrative details can be handled and announcements made, allowing the course content to start precisely at 7:00 p.m. Also, please bring your favorite nonalcoholic beverage and a dessert to share with your fellow cachers.

Note: The GeocacheAlaska! Board of Directors Meeting will be held prior to the event from 1730-1845 with the Event going from 1855-2030.
