Denna Geocache finns på toppen av berget Ryssugnarna. De sista 0,8 km kan endast beträdas till fots. This geocache is located on top of the mountain Ryssugnarna (The Russian Stoves). The last 0,8km (0,5 miles) can only be trodden by foot.
English: The mountain Ryssugnarna got it's name from big stone plates that were placed on the ground and then heated by fires beneath. Historical sources say that Russians used these "stoves" to keep themselves warm at night or simply cook food. At the top of Ryssugnarna you can gaze across the Åland Islands from a completely different perspective. The nearby mounds of stones are LEGALLY PROTECTED ancient graves.
Svenska: Berget Ryssugnarna har fått sitt namn från stora uppallade stenplattor varpå de hettades upp av eldar. Historiska källor säger att Ryssarna använde dessa "ugnar" för att hålla sig varma på natten eller helt enkelt laga mat. På toppen av Ryssugnarna får du ett utmärkt perspektiv över de Åländska öarna. De stora stenhögarna i närheten är FRIDLYSTA forngravar. I närheten av geocachen finns en liten grusparkering.
