Geocache Description:

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

The coordinates are for the parking lot at the Manasota Scrub Preserve; not the cache itself. Cache is in a medium sized Maxwell House coffee jug. To locate the cache: 27 01.AAA'N and 82 23.CCC'W where: AAA = In 1831, there was an atmospheric disturbance, a solar eclipse, in which the sun appeared bluish-green (possibly from debris deposited in the atmosphere by an eruption of Mount Saint Helens). Nat Turner took this as the final signal and eight days later he began the rebellion where he and other slaves killed approximately 60 whites in Southampton County, Virginia. What numerical day in the year did this disturbance occur? January 1st is day 1, January 2nd is day 2, etc.

DDD = The IRS publication for Foreign Student and Scholar Text (for use in preparing Tax Year 2007 Returns for Nonresident Aliens). CCC = DDD + 8. Original contents included a two-hole pencil sharpener, Lake Tahoe bear key chain, lovely ceramic scalloped shape clothes hook, a tool to measure distances on a map, a small cowbell, ear phones from Song airlines (maybe a collectible someday), a CD opener, phone jack duplex plug, two smudge free erasers, a log and a pen.

Some have commented that the cache isn't @ GZ so I took two GPS' to Maxwell's hiding place today and the coords are "dead on". In fact, one of the GPS' was accurate within less than one foot! Maybe to help resolve this dilemma, when you find him, include the last two digits of the coords in your post. I have been using a Magellan unit and some say that there is a difference between Magellan and Garmin units. Maybe the surroundings are giving everybody different readings. He is still there; maybe a little hard to find but all is well. Keep looking! You might even have to step on him to actually find him and maybe even then you won't find him. He's bigger than you think.....
