We planted this cache with Chloe on her birthday!
The cache is a plastic container in a baggie to kep it dry & it contains the usual swag. Enjoy!
It can be accessed from two different directions.
1. Cross the hwy bridge (California Ave.), travel up Hwy 37 for about a half a mile and turn on to Parkway. There is a walkway at the end of the road that will take you to the walking bridge.
2. Take the Fifth St. extension past the old lumber mill and watch for the gated walkway just before crossing Libby Creek. The walkway passes some old settling ponds once used by the mill and travels along Libby creek for a ways and leads to the walking bridge and across the Kootenai River. It's a beautiful walk & you might even see some wildlife.
