"We are fragile creatures who do not have forever, let us care for one another."

This cache was placed in memory of Arthur E. Hinman "Art" and V. June Hinman "June Bug". Arthur and June were married on November 10, 1942. During WWII, Arthur served in the Army Air Corps as a weatherman. He was aboard a U.S. Naval ship and aided pilots during the D-Day raid. While Arthur was away, June worked at a local factory in Michigan wiring bombs.

After the war, Arthur attended and graduated with a Master's Degree in Sociology from the University of Michigan. Arthur and June then moved to Cincinnati, OH. He earned significant notoriety as a Sociology Professor at the University of Cincinnati.

Arthur and June had only one daughter, Sarah, who married Alex in 1987. Together, Sarah and Alex have four children. Arthur passed after a battle with bone cancer in 1992 when the second grandchild was only 1. June lived to witness the childhood of her four grandchildren until 2009. Their grave stone is located ~25 feet east of the cache location. BYOP
