Under the BIG TOP Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

The cache is a small container, there is only room for the log and some dead presidents for the FTF>>>therefore you will need to bring your own pen/pencil.

Since everyone loves the circus right, we decided that the location for this cache was perfect. The Shrine Circus is an event that started in 1906 in the United States. The circus visits over 120 cities every year, as well as over 40 in Canada. The Shrine Circus is named after the "Shriners," also known as the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine. The Shrine Circus often has another word prefacing the Shrine Circus name based on the host city. For example, the Midian Shrine Circus, the Hadi Shrine Circus or the Irem Shrine Circus are named after organizations or shrine temples in their area. There's more to the Irem Shrine Circus than meets the eye. For 61 years, the circus has been coming to our area, entertaining and occupying residents of all ages. But looking beyond the acrobatics, animals, clowns and concessions, there is a rich tradition that touches everyone involved
The Shriners have assisted the Shrine Circuses throughout history. These men are determined in raising funds to support children's hospitals and burn units across the country. Many Shriners participate in the circus as musicians, artists and clowns.
