Geocache Description:

This micro cache is located in a small waterfront park along the shores of Lake Washington in Lake Forest Park.

Although this park is clearly visible from the Burke-Gilman trail, the entrance is located on Beach Drive Northeast.

Lyon Creek Waterfront Preserve opened in October of 2002. The search for this micro should not be very time consuming, especially if the clue is consulted. There is no need for bushwhacking to find this container, and you will need to bring your own pen.

The preserve would provide a great resting or picnic spot during a day of biking or geocaching. Be sure to stroll all the way to the end of the dock to enjoy the view of Lake Washington. There are also several benches and two picnic tables in the park, and a bridge deck that crosses over Lyon Creek for salmon viewing.
