About this cache: The Washington coast has always been one of my favorite places -- a place to center myself, a place to renew. I have been coming to this area, just a bit north of the city of Ocean Shores, for years. It's a beautiful and rugged place, its scenic wildness sculpted by the wind and water. Be attentive as you come out this way. Wildlife is bountiful -- many birds (including bald eagles) and flowers and, if you're watchful, a deer or two.
You can literally drive up to this cache, although I would suggest parking just a bit to the north, where the view is better. Grab the cache, enjoy the view, then move on. Keep a hand on your young ones as it is a long drop (there is no need to venture beyond the guardrail) and the road you are next to can be busy at times. Also be a bit sneaky as there are usually muggles nearby.
Please note how the cache is placed when you snag it and return it the same way (largest flat side to largest flat side), as far in as you can get it. I promise, you can't place it too far out of reach.
If you want sandy beach access, Roosevelt Beach is just to the south with parking and a bathroom.
Congrats to Kosiusmc on his FTF. He won a set of unactivated TB tags.
As always, please let me know if there are any problems with the coordinates or the cache. Most importantly, have fun!
