Is it an art form? Is it a stone age burial site? Is it Cape Town's Stonehenge? Was it a meteorite shower? Extra terrestrials? Rubble? A beacon?
Since the cache was placed here a plaque has been placed on the north side to reveal that this is indeed a work of art and acknowledge the artist Strijdom Van Der Merwe. These granite rocks which were excavated when the sea wall was rehabilitated in 2018 were arranged in a pattern to echo the ebb and flow of the tide. It is called STONE TIDE
