A quick cache and dash just off the M9 at junction 3. This one is easily accessible and you can park right at the cache site. Although this is a busy road, the layby/bus stop is very rarely used so you shouldn't have any major problems.
As a disabled cacher who travels about a fair bit I like the motorway mayhem series. Unfortunately there are not that many in Scotland and I thought I would add to the number of accessible caches as well.
It should be noted that M9 J3 is on and off in one direction only. Therefore if travelling towards Edinburgh you will have to come off at J2 and work your way back to J3 to find the cache. You can then rejoin M9 towards Edinburgh at J3. You can come off at J3 if travelling towards Stirling but will either then have to backtrack to J2 to get back on M9 or continue off motorway to J4 to carry on your journey. Either way it is easy to navigate and will only add 5 - 10 mins to your journey.
