Geocache Description:

The cache is located inside the largest, tallest patch of grass on the beach bordering the Hotel Del's boardwalk.  When you are looking at lifeguard station 3C, Isla Coronado will be in the background. When you find the cache, sit down on the sand and pretend you are looking at the beautiful ocean because muggles are everywhere here! Beware of the grass as it is sharp and can cut your hands easily. When you find the cache, please take a sticker to remind you of how awesome you are, leave whatever you like, and sign our logbook if you would please. A 4 digit number is the answer to our question and used as the combination to unlock the box. There are several signs around the Del (or ask an employee!) that can help you find this answer.

"On birthdays you get presents and geocaches too....this famous building has a birthday just like you.....the year this building officially opened will unlock the box for you. Hint: this building is near you."

This geocache was created by local Coronado Girl Scouts troop 6562! Have fun geocaching and safe travels to you! :)
