Geocache Description:

THE CACHE
This is a 5 stage Multi-Cache with parking is available at the first waypoint.
 
The first 4 stages are questions and the final stage contains the cache.
 
The answers to the question stages will give you a number, the four numbers will be those required to open the combination lock containing logbook.
 
 
 

WAYPOINT 1: BLACK SIGN 
There is a black 'Cavehill Country Park' sign here. At the bottom of the sign there is a number, what is the fourth digit of this number? 
 
WAYPOINT 2: STUMP SIGN 
There is a tree stump with a sign on it here. The Pink segment contains two numbers, add these together. 
 
WAYPOINT 3: THE ROCK 
This waypoint has a rock with arrows on it. If facing the rock how many arrows point to your right, down the hill again? 
 
WAYPOINT 4: THE GATE 
You will see a black steel gate here. How many horizontal rails (stringers) make up the gate?

WAYPOINT 5: THE CACHE
You will find the final cache here with logbook to sign. You will need the 4 digits you have to solve the lock combination. When you have opened the lock and sign logbook, please leave everything as you found it.

CAVEHILL COUNTRY PARK

The Upper Cavehill Road entrance is another route through and to the top of the Cavehill and meets the path from Carr's Glen Linear Park on the way up. Park features include Cave Hill Adventurous Playground, archaeological sites, Cave Hill Visitor Centre, an ecotrail, gardens, orienteering routes, refreshments (in Belfast Castle), scenic views and waymarked walking trails.

The park's natural attractions include heath and moorland on top of the hill itself, the meadows and Milewater Stream in Carr's Glen Linear Park, the woodlands of Hazelwood and the beautiful surroundings of Belfast Castle Estate.

The area is rich in birds and wild plants and land at Ballyhagan and Hazelwood is designated as a local nature reserve.
