This spoooooky Halloween cache is the first cache hidden by the combined teams of Beachcomber1994 and TheMcHughCrew.
The cache is located off the trail found at the top of the steepest of the sledding hills at the corner of the Muddy Pond Road playing fields. The parking lot coordinates are: N 42° 24.827, W 71° 46.981.
On the way to the cache, you’ll pass the getaway car cemetery. But beware – if you reach the abandoned shack, you’ve gone a bit too far. Is this dilapidated hovel the last hideout for the long missing gangster Jimmy Three Thumbs? Or is it the devilish lair of the Stillwater Witch? All we can say is that we wouldn’t go there after dark ….. and maybe that shrieking noise is just an owl? Or maybe not ….
The creepy cache is near a dead tree and is filled with Halloween goodies.
And be warned - this area is often haunted by small Muggles playing sports - so use caution to avoid detection.
