Lípa u Sv. Anny je třetím památným stromem, který Vám chceme představit.
Opět jde o lípu srdčitou nebo též zvanou lípu malolistou (Tilia cordata), jedná se o statný opadavý listnatý strom s košatou, vysoko klenutou korunou, který dorůstá 30 a více metrů z čeledi slézovitých. Strom je v evidenci památných stromů Agentury ochrany přírody a krajiny ČR pod číslem 102434 . Přirozeně se vyskytuje po celé Evropě s výjimkou severní poloviny Skandinávie a nejjižnějších koutů Evropy. Roste také na Korsice, Kavkaze a Krymském poloostrově. Roste hojně v listnatých a smíšených lesích od nížin do nižších horských poloh, v horách nad 900 m n.m. však většinou zcela chybí.
Strom naleznete u vsi Břežany, severozápadně od Horažďovic. Tuto lípu najdete růst na východ při výjezdu z obce směrem na Malý Bor odbočit doleva po cestě až u barokní kaple sv. Anny, v nadmořské výšce 500 m. Stáří stromu je odhadováno na 250 let, s obvodem kmene 430 cm a celkovou výškou 24 m, údaje jsou z měření z roku 1992. Lípa je chráněna od roku 1992 pro svůj vzrůst a věk s ochranným pásmem o poloměru 10 m. Zdravotní stav je dobrý a při měření v roce 2012 byl obvod kmene 432 cm a celková výška 25 m. Za nejstarší živou lípu malolistou v České republice je považována Žeberská lípa odhadované stáří je přes 700 let.
Podle vyprávění jezuity Alberta Chanovského žila v polovině 17. století ve vesnici Břežany žena, kterou manžel bil, až oslepla. Před velkým trápením utekla do lesa, kde si pod dohledem anděla hlínou umývala obličej. Když ze země náhle začala proudit voda, tak dlouho s ní ošetřovala své oči, až částečně uviděla. U zázračného pramene pak postavili kapličku a zasvětili ji sv. Anně. Voda ze studánky prý léčila všechny neduhy, zejména oční, a lidé si ji odnášeli domů. Při poslední přestavbě kaple v polovině 18. století vysadili před kaplí dnes již památnou lípu, která kapličku již několik století ochraňuje. Původně u kaple rostly lípy dvě, dochovala se však jen jedna.

Keš je umístěna až za ochranným pásmem památného stromu, proto u stromu nehledejte a hlavně strom v žádné části nepoškozujte. Z parkoviště P1 dojděte po silnici až k P2 a odtud lesní cestou vzhůru k památnému stromu. Od samotného stromu je to ke schránce kousek za šipkou.
