Oklahoma Veterans Memorial
This is a remarkable and very moving memorial put up in
recognition of the individuals killed in action while serving in
our armed forces from World War I to the Vietnam Conflict! Coming
from a military family, this is a very touching memorial that I
thought alot of people would enjoy seeing! It is a very large
memorial and I have been shocked when I ask people if they have
seen this and they had no idea that it was there! That is why I am
doing this as a virtual cache to bring more people to this site! To
log this cache, you may take a photo of yourself with your GPSr or
your GPSr in front of the memorial or answer these three questions
by email...
1. The statue of the soldier standing in front
of the memorial is cast in bronze, what is the copyright date
stamped in the base of it?
2. What object is standing up in the middle of the memorial?
3. What is the symbol on the base of the lone standing
soldier?
Please do not compromise the answers with your photo and do not put
the answers on the log, even if encrypted! You may go ahead and log
it after you email me but I will delete all posts that do not abide
