The evil
Shadow Lord is plotting to invade Deltora and enslave its
people. All that stands against him is the magic Belt of
Deltora with its seven gems of great and mysterious power.
When the gems are stolen and hidden in dark, terrible places
throughout the kingdom, the Shadow Lord triumphs and Deltora
is lost. In secrecy, with only a hand drawn map to guide
them.
Our
geocachers, with nothing in common but their hatred of the evil
one, are on a perilous quest to find the gems stolen from the magic
Belt of Deltora. Only when all the gems have been restored to the
Belt can the evil Shadow Lord be overthrown. They will need courage
to move on in their search for the cache. But none of them can know
what horrors await them in the forbidden City of the
Rats.
Beware the
evil snake Reeah guardian of the secret location where the cache is
hidden. Reeah is a giant snake with a body that is as thick as an
ancient tree trunk. The snake’s vanity and wickedness knows no
bounds.
The cache
contains a logbook, pencil, swaps and a card with a gem clue.
Remember to record the details of the clue; you will need this
information to solve the location of the final cache in the Deltora
Quest. These caches have been placed with the assistance of seven
and twelve year old boys. If you know a child in this age range you
may find that they can be very helpful.
