Geburtstag in Kroatien
Anlässlich eines runden Geburtstags der "besseren" Hälfte von "KerFra" wurde auf unserer Lieblingsinsel ausführlich gefeiert und als Erinnerung daran dieser Cache angelegt.
Jeder der mit der Fähre von Valbiska (Krk) nach Lopar angereist ist hat sicher schon das riesige kroatische Wappen gesehen (von Krk aus kommend auf der rechten Seite).
Dieses Wappen ist über einen schmalen, steinigen Wanderweg erreichbar. Weitere Wanderwege auf dieser Landzunge zwischen Lopar und Supertraska Draga ermöglichen einen phantastischen Blick auf den alten Stadtteil von Lopar.
Für die Wanderung ist festes Schuhwerk empfehlenswert da die Wege teilweise aus sehr groben Schotter / Geröll bestehen. Die Wege sind aber auch für Kinder machbar (natürlich ohne Kinderwagen).
Für den Cache selbst ist es nicht erforderlich lose Steine in den Steinmauern zu suchen oder Steine daraus zu entnehmen. Man erkennt die wasserdichte Dose (ca. 10cmx15cmx5cm) recht schnell wenn man davor steht :-)

On the occasion of a round birthday of the "better" half of "KerFra" was celebrated at length on our favorite island and as a reminder this cache was created.
Everyone who has taken the ferry from Valbiska (Krk) to Lopar has surely seen the huge Croatian coat of arms (coming from Krk on the right side).
This emblem can be reached via a narrow, stony hiking trail. Other hiking trails on this headland between Lopar and Supertraska Draga provide a fantastic view of the old part of Lopar.
For the hike sturdy shoes are recommended because the paths consist partly of very coarse gravel / boulders. However, the paths are feasible for children (of course without strollers).
For the cache itself it is not necessary to look for loose stones in the stone walls or to take stones from them. You can see the waterproof box (about 10cmx15cmx5cm) quite quickly when you stand in front of it :-)
