Geocache Description:

You'll find this cache after a three mile hike up from the Dunnefield Creek parking area (or perhaps you'll grab it on the way down from Sunfish Pond). The Dunnefield Creek trail is one of my favorite in this part of the country and is quite wild considering it is in New Jersey. We even saw Mama Bear and her two cubs about 15 minutes after we placed the cache. During high water conditions, the trail can be more difficult due to numerous bridgeless stream crossings. Definitely continue up to Sunfish Pond if you come up that way.
