This cache is located 1/2 mile from US Route 322 near the rail bed of the old Clarion Secondary Railroad. Park at the site of the old Van underpass which is about 1/2 mile east of the bridge over East Sandy Creek and the entrance to the Sandy Creek Trail recreational trail. The railbed is approved for vehicular traffic ONLY for hunters displaying a PA game Commission Handicapped Hunter permit. TRAVEL BY CAR ON THE RAILBED IS AT YOUR OWN RISK !! Besides that, it's a nice 1/2 mile walk back to the cache, terrain is easy. No reason to drive, really. Cache is in a green ammo box. Sign the logbook, please !!
