Geocache Description:

Not far from Treeton Woods cache. Some steps to climb and is a little steep in one place and can be muddy when wet. Less than an hour to do.

There is a lane to go down first at that top of this is one of Treetons pit wheels. Towards the bottom of this lane on the left hand side is a path leading you into the woods. You will see some steps climb to the top till you get out of the trees and into a clearing.
This is Hail Mary Woods so called, (now for the history bit) Just think Mary queen of Scotts on her way to be executed, starts to feel ill which is not surprising really. The Queen and soldiers camp here for the night they camp here because it is a high place and safe for a lookout from any on coming danger. Mary queen of Scotts did get her self about a bit, but these claims were found in a book at Chatsworth by her lady in waiting so its true too.

Now back to the cache: Walk on round following the footpath and soon you will enter the trees again. You will be approaching the cache location here, if you get to another set of steps that get you back down further into the woods youve passed it. You will see two holly bushes on your right with some Silver Birch trees in the middle of them, look behind there Bingo.

The cache is a 1tr tupperware box with the usual items please log and put back in good order. If you feel the box could do with some attention please let me know.
