Geocache Description:

Large natural open space of wild flower meadows and native woodland on the border of Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Clayfield Copse is a designated Nature Reserve and also has a sculpture trail. Accessible from a large car park of Caversham Park Village Road... Can be very muddy in wet season (you have been warned!). Very dog friendly and lots of fun for the children although not buggy friendly.

We have recently discovered Geocaching and were amazed not to find any caches in Clayfield Copse as it's our favourite spot to walk the dogs.

If you are parking at the location off Caversham Park Village Road proceed towards the Crocodile at N051 29.127 and W000 57.199 and then head towards the top of the Copse. There is a Kissing Gate at N051 29.270 / W000 57.011 and from there you are in the best place to find the cache - Go East from the Kissing Gate and it's about another 6m. Look on the right hand side of the path and find me looking back down the hill...
