Witley Cricket Ground
Cricket has been played in and around Witley since at least
1767. G.B.Buckley, in his book "Fresh Light on 18th Century
Cricket", gives the first documented proof of cricket being played
at Godalming.
If anybody would like to expand this series please do, we would
just ask that you could let Al 7365 know first so he can keep track
of the Cricket micros numbers and names to avoid duplication
