Nanocache nascosta in Piazza Duomo.
Vi servirà una penna. Piazza Duomo è la più bella ed importante piazza a Messina, dove si può ammirare:

• la Fontana di Orione, realizzata da un discepolo di Michelangelo Buonarroti nel 1500, che rappresenta i fiumi Nilo, Tevere, Ebro e Canaro e fu scolpita per celebrare il primo acquedotto della città;
• il monumento della madonna Immacolata, che fu spostato in piazza nel 1900;
• il Duomo, posto sul lato della piazza, costruito dai Normanni e ristutturato a causa del terremoto del 1908. La facciata è decorata con fasce alternate multicolore e arricchita con marmi e rilievi del XIV secolo, che raffigurano gli abitanti della città in scena di vita quotidiana, anche i tre portali sono in stile gotico. L'interno, anch'esso è stato ristutturato ma rimane visibile le 24 colonne in cemento rivestite di marmo che si dividono nelle navate e fanno parte del telaio della chiesa per resistere ad eventuali terremoti futuri.
• Il campanile, che si trova sul lato sinistro della facciata, che contiene uno splendido orologio animato astronomico in cui un lato è un grande quadrante luminoso che scandisce le ore e negli altri lati si trova il complesso gioco di ingranaggi, contrappesi e leve che muovono i personaggi dell'orologio, ogni giorno a mezzogiorno.

You'll need a pen. Piazza Duomo is the most beautiful and important square in Messina, where you can admire:

• the Fountain of Orion, created by a disciple of Michelangelo Buonarroti in 1500, which represents the rivers Nilo, Tiber, Ebro and Canaro and was carved to celebrate the first aqueduct of the city;
• the monument of the Madonna Immacolata, which was moved to the square in 1900;
• the Cathedral, located on the side of the square, built by the Normans and reorganized due to the earthquake of 1908. The facade is decorated with alternating bands multicolored and enriched with marble and reliefs of the fourteenth century, which depict the inhabitants of the city on the scene of everyday life, even the three portals are in Gothic style. The interior, also has been restored but remains visible the 24 marble-clad concrete columns that are divided into the naves and are part of the frame of the church to withstand future earthquakes.
• The bell tower, located on the left side of the façade, contains a splendid astronomical animated clock in which one side is a large luminous dial that marks the hours and on the other sides is the complex game of gears, counterweights and levers that move the clock characters, every day at noon.
