halemeister: Ooops! I meant to archive this one a couple weeks ago, but then forgot. Consider it a done deal now, though. Thanks to all who came out to hunt this one.

Geocache Description:

He did it!

The story starts out on 8/2/03. That's the day RebelGTP found his very first geocache. Almost 7 years passed before he got around to finding his second cache, but apparently that was the one that really got the ball rolling for him. On June 11, 2011 he attended Not Just Desserts event in Libertyville, IL and logged his 1,000th find. This cache is placed to commemorate his milestone.

RebelGTP is a self proclaimed Geocache Guardian and Travel Bug/Geocoin Protector. There have been many times when he's gone out of his way, or stopped by a cache that he's previously found in order to do a welfare check on it for the cache owner. He'll often repair or replace the cache for the owner if he has supplies handy. He's a cache owner's best friend.

You are looking for a .50 caliber ammo can that was generously donated by smurfy98. When it was first hidden, it contained some swag items that would be of interest to RebelGTP, such as a school bus toy, a water gun, a Hot Wheels car, a Disney Cars movie magnet, an unactivated commemorative geocoin, as well as a special log book for you to sign. Please take a moment to read the inside cover of the log book and take a glance at the photos of RebelGTP and his adventures to 1,000 finds!

Stealth may be required at times as this hide is not too far off the paved trail.

*Congrats to RebelGTP for another FTF!*
