JestersMagpie: Firstly I will say that bats are not known to roost at this location.
What started as a disclosure of location escalated and resulted in a threat of violence caused the situation with the BA series. The political situation with the quarries is difficult with the conversationalists and vandals with geocachers in the middle, but then for other reasons the Bat conservation groups becoming involved and conducting ongoing surveys it was decided it best was to disable all the series.
There have always been guidelines especially group size. I had hope disabling would be enough to stop visits, but unfortunately not, So an oversized group visiting especially during roosting season leaves no option but to archive the series.
