Geocache Description:

This is the sixth in a series of six caches that can be visited even during the rainy season and even the youngest cachers will enjoy. Each cache includes two parts, a cache and a clue or clues. The clues can be found on the playground or in the immediate vicinity. The cache will be at the coordinates listed above and be within walking distance of the playground. Once you have collected the clues from the six caches, you will be ready to tackle Playground Madness - The Finale!

Please exercise caution. Watch for poisonous snakes and plants when retrieving this, or any other wilderness cache!

The cache:

The original contents of the container were:

  • Binoculars
  • Bug car
  • Button
  • Toy car
  • Pair of dice
  • Carabiner
  • Flashlight
  • Bookmark
  • Pencils

The playground:

The playground is Livorna Park, located about 1.1 miles SSW of the cache. Find the waypoints below.

This is a nice park. There are three separate play area with signs designating the age range allowed to play. Luckily, one of the areas didn't list an age limit, so this 40-something cacher was able to play on some of the equipment. The park also has a basketball court and a sand volleyball court.

The clues:

N. What is the oldest age that is allowed to play in the clubhouse?

O. How high are you able to jump (feet and inches) on the jump touch?

P. If something in the park is broken, what number should you call?

Q. How many rungs are on the chain ladder in the area appropriate for 7 year olds?

A special thanks to ‘Mom and I.’ for creating the Playground Madness Series in 2002. Due to time constraints, the series has recently been adopted by ‘HanSohn’.
