The goal of this hotel is for local Geocachers to drop off Travel
Bugs and for Geocachers visiting Florida to retrieve them and move
them along. If you’re Geocaching in Sand Key Park and visit
this hotel, we invite you to drop off your Travel Bugs and take the
time to discover new ones. It would be nice to see the Travel Bugs
placed here move more than 200 miles.
The nearest parking is about 900 feet from the TB Hotel.
It’s a nice hike along Clearwater Pass. There is no
bushwhacking or walking through high grass involved to reach this
cache. The cache/TB Hotel is a round drink cooler, about 12 inches
high, and is hidden in an Indian hawthorn bush.
There is a set of Travel Bug dog tags taped to the lid of the
cache for the FTF.
