Hello,
Geocachers!
Welcome to the
CacheApalooza 3 Home
Page! Come join us on
December 6, 2008 at the KITCHING CREEK PAVILION in Jonathan
Dickinson State Park
for the Third Annual CacheApalooza Weekend.
THIS EVENT WILL LAST FROM 8:00 AM 'til 8:00
PM.
CacheApalooza 3 will be
a fun-filled weekend of mostly
OLD-SCHOOL Geocaching in beautiful and mysterious Jonathan
Dickinson State Park in Hobe Sound, FL.
(OLD-SCHOOL Geocaching means hunting for regular-sized containers
in the woods.)
Located between Jupiter and Stuart, on the East Coast of Florida,
this park teems
with wildlife in 13 natural communities, including sand pine
scrub, pine flatwoods, mangroves, and river swamps.
The Loxahatchee River, Florida's first federally designated Wild
and Scenic River, runs through the park.
This year, we are planning to have over 200 loggable Geocaches
hidden in this diverse 11,500 acre park. Below are some of the new
AMMO CANS we will be hiding this year.
Some
of the caches will be extreme,
and of course there will be all of the other types of cache hides
as well.
We are also planning many other fun activities for you to
enjoy.
NEW PUZZLE CACHES WILL BE RELEASED 12/01/08. REGULAR
CACHES WILL BE RELEASED 12/03/08. A SELECT FEW WILL NOT BE RELEASED
UNTIL 12/06/08.
