In 1880, John Jarvie, a Scotsman built a ranch along the Green River to offer store goods to those that lived or traveled in this wild territory. At the ranch, you can visit the ranch's museum, where you'll discover relics from the frontier days. The cache site is located to the West of the Historical Site as no disturbance is allowed on this BLM historical site, but stop in learn about the Frontier past.
