Ihr seid auf der Suche nach einem städtischen Palast – dem Ephraim-Palais. Es gehörte dem Hofjuwelier von Friedrich II. – die goldenen Geländer des Balkons zeugen heute noch davon. Das Gebäude stand früher allerdings an einer etwas anderen Stelle, es wurde 1935 abgetragen und erst 50 Jahre später am heutigen Ort wieder aufgebaut.
Man sieht ihm seinen Umzug jedoch gar nicht an !
Im Palais gibt es oft interessante Ausstellungen, die einen Blick lohnen wenn Ihr beim Suchen seid !

You are looking for a small palace in the center of the city – the Ephraim Palace. It belonged to the jeweler of Friedrich II. the Great – golden handrails are still telling about his profession. An interesting fact: the building was earlier located on a slightly different location than today. It was broken down in 1935 and rebuilt only 50 years later on his current place.
Often there are interesting exhibitions in the palace – have a look when you are around searching for the cache !
