Tofte Tårnet 

Tårnet som også er kendt som Tofte Skov Tårnet, er placeret lidt udenfor Øster Hurup. Fra tårnet er der udsigt til Sandhusene, Enebærsletten og Bønderskoven. 

Det er blandt andet muligt både at spotte et rigt dyreliv fra tårnet, og specielt fra august til oktober, kan krondyrenes brunst opleves helt tæt på. Hvis man tager et kig i en af kiggerterne er det heller ikke sjældent at man får æren af at se vildsvin traske forbi, eller en rovfulg på jagt efter det næste måltid. Mange småfugle befinder sig ofte omkring enebærbuskene, som de både bruger som fødekilde og som udkigspunkt efter smådyr. 

Der har tidligere været placeret en Traditionel Geocache her ved tårnet, nemlig GC186KH af Team S/Y Freja, men da det er et flot sted, skulle en ny jo placeres  Det er der så blevet nu, god jagt

Tofte Tower

The tower, also known as Tofte Forest tower, is located a little outside of Øster Hurup. From the tower there are views of the Sandhusene (the sand houses), Enebærsletten (the juniper forest) and Bønderskoven (the peasant forest).

It is possible both to spot a rich wildlife from the tower, and especially from August to October, and the roars of the red deers can be experienced very close. If you look through one of the binoculars, it is also not rare to see wild boars walk by, or birds of prey in search of the next meal. Many small birds are often found around juniper bushes, which they use both as a food source and as a lookout point for small animals.

Previously the Traditional Geocache GC186KH by Team S/Y Freja was placed here. But since this place is so nice, a new one had to be placed.  Which it has been now. Happy hunting
