I used to live in the neighbourhood near here, but then moved to a different part of Charleston. I still like coming to this place though to check on my cache because it's a nice place to go to.
I often used to come down here on my bike or with the dogs at sunset and watch it set over the Ashley river - lovely.
If you keep walking down the path and go left, you'll get to a dock which is popular with fisherman. The cache used to be hidden UNDER the dock itself, but it kept getting muggled, and once fell in the water - oops! So I've moved it back down the path. Explore the area though if you can.
