NOTE: The workers at the center know about the cache and enjoy watching you search. 1 or 2 may be sitting near the cache. Say "Hi". Don't let their presence keep you from finding the cache, they're glad you are here.

A park & grab Placed with permission of Kathy and Lander of the Blacksburg S.C. Welcome Center. (NOTE - the container holder is attached with the permission of the site director - cachers should not
normally use screws to attach a cache container without Specific permission to do so.)


This cache is located between Exits 104 and 102 on the Southbound side of I-85 near Blacksburg, SC. The information center is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days aweek. The facilities are open 24/7.

This is a great spot for travelers to stop and stretch. Inside they have a vast array of information about all of South Carolina and what it offers to visitors. They even have free WiFi access!
There are also several exhibits about what can be seen in South Carolina, including some Civil War items. Take the time and go in and visit and learn about our great state.

Right out front there is also a garden displaying many of the "official" state symbols.
