Want to learn about geocaching? This is the event for you! Learn about geocaching cache sizes, trackables, events, and how to geocache using your smartphone.

The GeoCats present Geocaching 101 and How to Geocache with your Smartphone in celebration of Earth Day.

Learn all of the following:

What is geocaching?

What do I need to go geocaching?

How is the game played?

What are the rules of geocaching?

What are the different types of geocaches?

How did geocaching start?

What does a geocache look like?

What are trackables?

How do I use my smartphone for geocaching?

Afterwards stay for a Cache In Trash Out event and potluck lunch. Seasoned cachers will be on hand to assisit those in finding their first geocache. This is a great event for families and scout groups.
