There are several different cache types and hiding styles in this game. Everything from the prized ammo can in the middle of the woods to light pole caches… and everything in between. There’s so many that there’s a cache out there for nearly any situation or skill level, but certain types have gotten stereotyped over the years. LPC’s are one of those types of cache.
It’s said that they are lazy and bring nothing but numbers to geocaching. However, these types of caches (and others) have more value then something just thrown out there for the sake of hiding a cache. They allow cachers to participate that may not otherwise be physically able, or provide an easy way to introduce others to the game, or even just provide a way to get a quick smilie. They can even be used to obtain the coordinates to another cache.
This cache is part of a 40 cache series throughout Hattiesburg and the surrounding areas. Half of the containers contain clues for obtaining coordinates to locate the ‘Nothing but Number Series’ mystery cache hidden in the area.
The concept is simple… think of the children’s game Memory. Make matches in order to put the numbers for the final coordinates in the correct order.
You’re looking for a well concealed 35mm film canister. The cache only contains a log so be sure to BYOP! As always... please hide the cache back exactly as you found it and be sure to snap the lid back on firmly to try and help keep the cache dry.
