The Mackinac Bridge
The Mackinac Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Straits of Mackinac to connect the Upper and Lower Peninsulas of Michigan. This beautiful bridge opened in 1957. It is the world's 19th longest suspension bridge at 26,372 feet long. It is the longest suspension bridge between two anchorages in the Western Hemisphere.
