Geocache Description:

The cache container is a Nano.

The reservoir in Durban Botanical Gardens was completed 1884 and had a capacity of 228 000 litres. It is situated beneath the lily pond and was Durban’s first reservoir.

This is also the site of the Jubilee Conservatory erected in 1898 to commemorate the diamond jubilee of Queen Victoria. It was demolished in 1946.
