Enjoy a beautiful 10 minute hike on the Salt Lake Overlook trail up Millcreek Canyon (small fee upon leaving). The trail skirts around a steep hillside, but it is well groomed. Trees may create a jumpy signal, but GPS should get you close enough. Be gentle with opening the roof. Hans loves visitors, but PLEASE LEAVE HIM IN HIS HAUS because he desires to stay as caretaker of his forest (and is an official part of the cache).
This neck of the woods provided many cherished hours of youthful play time, exploration, and adventure. In the warmth of summer, we could be found building bungalows or enjoying a hike with family and friends. When the snow fell, crisp mountain air filled our lungs on wintery days of trail sledding, snowball fights, and snow forts. Even now, this place still offers a much needed escape. Say "guten tag" to Hans for us when you visit. If he’s not out riding a fox, climbing a tree, or pruning shrubberies, he loves swapping swag with friendly visitors.
