Discover Telluride History! Tucked in the “Telluride Law” cache are fun historic photos as well as background and stories of the town’s colorful law enforcement agents and the criminals they sought.
A mining town turned ski-resort, Telluride has been filled with wild stories of law enforcement from its beginning. From Butch Cassidy’s first bank robbery and the Marshal who shot a prostitute’s dog, to an underground tunnel into a bank vault and a murder featured on “America’s Unsolved Mysteries,” Telluride’s history is anything but dull.
There is usually plenty of 2hr street parking nearby.
This cache was created by the Telluride Historical Museum. We’ve hidden five historic caches throughout the area—be sure to find them all!
