Geocache Description:

Photo of the inscription

The former president, Chiang Kai-shek outlined in 1952 the four words of the stone inscription located on top of the Taiwushan, "Wu Wang Zai Chu", to honor Tien-Dan of the Warring Status Period for his courage and sprit to fight against all odds.

The inscription has become the landmark of Kinmen.

You have to park your vehicles at the entrance of Taiwushan (the cemetery) and take a 30 mins walk to the inscription (it will take you about 50 mins if you start from the east side, PingDong). Bicycle is allowed. On the way to the inscription, you should also visit the Reflected Image Pagoda. The scenery is great.

There are always many tourists around. Be very careful!!
