Rainer Maria Rilke, a German Language lyrical poet of the early 20th century, stayed in Duino Castle between October 1911 and May 1912, the guest of Princess Marie of Thurn und Taxis. There, in 1912, he began the poem cycle called the Duino Elegies (Duineser Elegien).

This is the fifth of a series of "poetic caches" placed along the "Sentiero Rilke" to draw geocachers to this amazing scenic walk, while at the same time celebrating the poetry of Rilke.

A poem about walking in the mountains.
The cache is placed near a cement seat where the walkers can rest their legs, while looking out over the Golfo. Not to be opened when there are muggles present. The bench is up some steps from the path, so it's possible to find the spot free, except maybe at peak times like Sundays in the summer. Please replace the cache exactly as found
Questa è la quinta di una serie di "cache poetiche" nascoste lungo il "Sentiero Rilke" per attirare i geocacher a questa incredibile passeggiata panoramica, e simultaneamente per celebrare la poesia di Rilke.
Il numero scritto al inizio del logbook serve per avere le coordinate della settima cache "bonus".

Il nascondiglio è vicino a una panchina di cimento dove gli escursionisti possono riposare le gambe, ammirando il panorama del Golfo. Non apre il nascondiglio quando ci sono presenti i muggles. La panchina si trova su per qualche gradino dal sentiero, quindi è possibile trovare il posto libero, tranne forse nelle ore di massimo traffico come per esempio le Domeniche in estate. Si prega di rimettere la cache esattamente come trovata.
